Description
Inadequate content filtering within the checkAttribute methods leads to XSS vulnerabilities in various components.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the Joomla! Framework. This issue arises from inadequate content filtering in the checkAttribute methods, which can be exploited in various components. The vulnerability affects Joomla! CMS versions 3.0.0 prior to 5.4.5 and 6.0.0 prior to 6.1.0.
Users are advised to upgrade to Joomla! CMS version 5.4.6 or 6.1.1.
