Description
A vulnerability was identified in itsourcecode Free Hotel Reservation System 1.0. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /admin/mod_amenities/index.php?view=editpic. Such manipulation of the argument ID leads to sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit is publicly available and might be used.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the itsourcecode Free Hotel Reservation System version 1.0. The issue resides in the file /admin/mod_amenities/index.php, specifically when the 'view' parameter is set to 'editpic' and the 'id' parameter is manipulated. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject malicious SQL queries, exploiting insufficient input validation. The injection can lead to unauthorized database access, data modification or deletion, and retrieval of sensitive information.
It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
