Description
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in Copilot Chat (Microsoft Edge) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Copilot for iOS and Android. This issue allows unauthorized attackers to execute code remotely by sending crafted prompts that are processed without proper verification. As a result, the prompts could be executed unnoticed by the user, potentially leading to unauthorized access or modification of data within the application.
Users can download the security update for Microsoft 365 Copilot for iOS or Android through the respective app stores.
