Description
Bridge is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed.
A vulnerability in Adobe Bridge exists due to incorrect authorization, allowing for arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This issue requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file for exploitation to occur. The vulnerability affects Adobe Bridge versions 15.1.6 (LTS) and earlier, as well as versions 16.0.5 and earlier, on both Windows and macOS.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Bridge version 15.1.7 (LTS) or 16.0.6. These updates are available through the Creative Cloud desktop app's update mechanism or can be downloaded directly from the Adobe Bridge download page.
