Description
Bridge is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds write has been identified in Adobe Bridge. This issue could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability affects Adobe Bridge versions 15.1.6 (LTS) and earlier, as well as versions 16.0.5 and earlier, on both Windows and macOS.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Bridge version 15.1.7 (LTS) or 16.0.6. These updates can be downloaded from the Adobe Download Page or via the Creative Cloud desktop app's update mechanism.
