Description
Bridge is affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Bridge versions 15.1.5 (LTS) and earlier, as well as in Bridge 16.0.3 and earlier. This vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Bridge 15.1.6 (LTS) or 16.0.4. These updates can be downloaded from the Adobe Bridge Download Page or via the Creative Cloud desktop app's update mechanism.
