Description
Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) is affected by an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
A vulnerability exists in Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) versions through 7.4.3 build 9398, on both Windows and Linux platforms. This vulnerability stems from improper neutralization of special elements used in a template engine, which could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Campaign Classic version 7.4.3 build 9399. This security bulletin applies only to fully on-premise deployments of Adobe Campaign Classic and to the on-premise components of hybrid deployments. Adobe-hosted instances have already been remediated.
