Description
ColdFusion is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in privilege escalation. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to gain unauthorized read and write access. The vulnerable component is restricted to an administrative network zone by default. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
A vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion has been identified, allowing for incorrect authorization that could lead to privilege escalation. This issue enables an attacker to gain unauthorized read and write access. The vulnerability is present in ColdFusion versions 2025 (Update 10 and earlier) and 2023 (Update 21 and earlier). Exploitation of this vulnerability does not require user interaction.
Users are advised to update to ColdFusion 2025 Update 11 or ColdFusion 2023 Update 22. For more information on these updates, refer to the Adobe ColdFusion Security Bulletin APSB26-82.
