Description
Format Plugins versions 1.1.2 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Format Plugins versions through 1.1.2. This vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Format Plugins version 1.1.3. For managed environments, IT administrators can deploy this update using the Adobe Admin Console.
