CVE-2026-48220 Details
Description
Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in ics205.php that allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript by passing an unsanitized value through the frm_add_str POST parameter directly into an HTML form hidden input value attribute. Attackers can craft a malicious request containing a JavaScript payload that executes in the victim's browser when the response is rendered.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Open ISES Tickets versions prior to 3.44.2. The issue resides in the 'ics205.php' file, where authenticated attackers can inject arbitrary JavaScript. This is achieved by sending an unsanitized value through the 'frm_add_str' POST parameter, which is then directly inserted into a hidden input value attribute of an HTML form. When the response is rendered, the injected JavaScript executes in the victim's browser.
Users are advised to upgrade to Open ISES Tickets version 3.44.2 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
