Description
Filament is a collection of full-stack components for accelerated Laravel development. From 4.0.0 until 4.11.5 and 5.6.5, the login page has an observable timing discrepancy that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate registered email addresses. The impact is limited to disclosing whether an account exists for a given email. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.11.5 and 5.6.5.
A timing-based vulnerability has been identified in the login page of Filament, a collection of components for Laravel development. This issue exists in versions 4.0.0 prior to 4.11.5 and in 5.0.0 prior to 5.6.5. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate registered email addresses by observing timing discrepancies in the login process. While the impact is limited to confirming the existence of an account associated with a given email, it still poses a moderate risk of user enumeration.
Users can upgrade to Filament versions 4.11.5 or 5.6.5 to address this vulnerability.
