Description
Media Encoder is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read has been identified in Adobe Media Encoder. This issue could lead to the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive memory information. The vulnerability affects versions 26.2.2 and earlier, as well as 25.6.5 and earlier, on both Windows and macOS platforms. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update Adobe Media Encoder to version 26.3 or 25.6.6. For managed environments, IT administrators can deploy these updates using the Adobe Admin Console.
