Description
Media Encoder is affected by a Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Media Encoder, affecting versions 26.2.2 and earlier, as well as 25.6.5 and earlier. This vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update Adobe Media Encoder to version 26.3 or 25.6.6. For managed environments, IT administrators can deploy these updates using the Admin Console.
