Description
An incorrect default permissions vulnerability in Synology Assistant before 7.0.7-50095 allows local users to read or write arbitrary files and conduct denial-of-service during installation.
A vulnerability in Synology Assistant for Windows, prior to version 7.0.7-50095, allows local users to read or write arbitrary files due to incorrect default permissions. Additionally, this vulnerability can be exploited to cause a denial-of-service during the installation process.
Users are advised to upgrade Synology Assistant to version 7.0.7-50095 or above.
