Description
Dreamweaver Desktop versions 21.7 and earlier are affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive files and directories outside the intended access scope. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file system read has been identified in Adobe Dreamweaver Desktop versions through 21.7. This incorrect authorization issue could enable an attacker to access sensitive files and directories beyond the intended access scope. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Dreamweaver version 21.8. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create deployment packages.
