Description
External control of file name or path in Azure Stack Edge allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Azure Stack Edge due to external control of file names or paths. This flaw allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over the network. The vulnerability arises because the application fails to properly validate or restrict file upload inputs, enabling attackers to manipulate file names or paths and potentially overwrite or create files in unintended locations on the system.
