Description
A Missing Authorization vulnerability in the playbook import functionality in Dialogflow CX on Google Cloud Platform allows an authenticated user with specific roles to escalate privileges and potentially take over a GCP project using a maliciously crafted playbook import. This vulnerability was patched on 15 March 2026, and no customer action is needed.
A missing authorization vulnerability has been identified in the playbook import feature of Google Dialogflow CX on the Google Cloud Platform. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user with certain roles to escalate privileges and potentially take control of a GCP project by importing a maliciously crafted playbook. The issue arises from inadequate authorization checks during the playbook import process, enabling unauthorized privilege escalation.
This vulnerability has been patched, and no customer action is needed.
