CVE-2026-47364 Details
Description
In versions of the Datadog Android application prior to v545-5.9.2, the app tags Crashlytics data with the user's Datadog UUID, with no user-facing opt-out. Impact: The Datadog user UUID and crash data are visible within Firebase Crashlytics. This UUID is not identifying outside Datadog's own systems.
A vulnerability exists in the Datadog Android application, where sensitive user information is unintentionally shared with Firebase Crashlytics. Upon each successful login, the application sends the user's unique Datadog UUID to Firebase, linking it with the device's Firebase installation ID. Additionally, uncaught exceptions are reported to Firebase Crashlytics, including stack traces that may contain internal class names, package details, and other sensitive information. This data is also associated with the user's Datadog UUID. The reviewed code does not include any visible consent mechanism or opt-out option for this data sharing with Crashlytics.
