Description
Relative path traversal in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to perform tampering over a network.
A relative path traversal vulnerability has been identified in Visual Studio Code. This issue allows an unauthorized attacker to manipulate files over a network. The vulnerability arises from improper handling of file paths, which could be exploited by enticing a user to open a malicious file in Visual Studio Code.
