Description
A vulnerability in Apache Kvrocks. This issue affects Apache Kvrocks: from 2.2.0 through 2.15.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.16.0, which fixes the issue.
A remote denial-of-service vulnerability exists in Apache Kvrocks versions 2.2.0 through 2.15.0. The issue arises because the unsafe loadstring function is not removed from the Lua sandbox, allowing users to execute EVAL scripts that load crafted, unvalidated bytecode. This unvalidated bytecode can crash the server process, leading to a denial-of-service condition.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Kvrocks version 2.16.0, which addresses this vulnerability.
