Description
Umbraco is an ASP.NET CMS. From version 14.0.0 to before version 17.4.0, authenticated users are able to inject HTML into an input field, which is rendered in the confirmation dialog without proper output encoding. This issue has been patched in version 17.4.0.
A moderate HTML injection vulnerability has been identified in Umbraco CMS versions 14.0.0 prior to 17.4.0. This issue allows authenticated users to inject HTML into an input field, which is then rendered in the confirmation dialog without adequate output encoding. As a result, this vulnerability could be exploited to execute cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
Users can upgrade to Umbraco CMS version 17.4.0 or later to address this vulnerability.
