Description
deepobj provides get, set, delete deep objects in javascript. Prior to 1.0.3, prototype pollution is possible when property paths contain __proto__/constructor/prototype. The property path must not be exposed as user input. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.3.
A prototype pollution vulnerability exists in the @ranfdev/deepobj package, specifically in versions through 1.0.2. This issue arises when property paths include '__proto__', 'constructor', or 'prototype', allowing for improper modification of object prototype attributes. The vulnerability is particularly concerning if the property path is exposed to user input.
Users can upgrade to version 1.0.4 or later to address this vulnerability.
