CVE-2026-46493 Details
Description
HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends. Versions prior to 26.0.1 use `uniqid` for generating salts, which is unsuitable. Version 26.0.1 fixes the issue.
A vulnerability exists in HAX CMS versions prior to 26.0.1, where the application uses 'uniqid' to generate salts. This method is not suitable for cryptographic purposes, as 'uniqid' does not provide cryptographically secure values and can be predictable. The issue has been addressed in version 26.0.1, which replaces 'uniqid' with a more secure alternative.
Users can upgrade to HAX CMS version 26.0.1 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
