Description
Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to 1.0.8.3, the backend admin/auth-token endpoint allows an authenticated administrator to load another administrator's REST API token list by supplying that user's admin_id. This can disclose sensitive API tokens belonging to other administrators. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.8.3.
A vulnerability in Vvveb CMS prior to version 1.0.8.3 allows authenticated administrators to access the REST API token lists of other administrators. This issue arises because the backend 'admin/auth-token' endpoint does not properly verify that the requested 'admin_id' belongs to the current administrator, enabling unauthorized access to sensitive API tokens. Exploitation involves using the token visibility toggle to reveal the plaintext tokens, which can then be used to access or modify site data through the API, depending on the token owner's permissions.
The vulnerability has been fixed in Vvveb version 1.0.8.3. Users are advised to update to this version.
