Description
HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends. An authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in versions prior to 26.0.0 allows authenticated users to fetch arbitrary internal or local resources and write the responses to a web-accessible directory, enabling arbitrary file read and internal network access. Version 26.0.0 contains a fix.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in HAX CMS versions through 25.0.0. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to fetch arbitrary internal or local resources and write the responses to a web-accessible directory. The issue arises in the 'createSite' endpoint, where the 'build.files' parameter can be exploited to access sensitive server or infrastructure data, potentially leading to a full system or cloud environment compromise.
Users are advised to update to HAX CMS version 26.0.0 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
