CVE-2026-45937 Details
Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: inside-secure/eip93 - fix kernel panic in driver detach During driver detach, the same hash algorithm is unregistered multiple times due to a wrong iterator.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's crypto driver for Inside Secure EIP-93 has been addressed. During the process of detaching the driver, the same hash algorithm was incorrectly unregistered multiple times, causing a kernel panic. This issue arose from a faulty iterator that led to the hash algorithm being processed more times than necessary.
Users can upgrade to the latest version of the Linux kernel where this vulnerability has been fixed. Instructions for downloading the patched version are available on the Linux kernel's official website.
