CVE-2026-45535 Details
Description
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.23, DataEase SQL-type datasets store attacker-controlled SQL variable defaultValue entries such as ${var} and SqlparserUtils.handleVariableDefaultValue() inserts them with String.replace() without escaping or parameterization, causing stored SQL injection whenever a user with dataset read permission accesses the dataset. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.23.
A stored SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in DataEase versions prior to 2.10.23. The issue arises in the processing of default values for SQL variables in SQL-type datasets. When a user creates or edits a dataset, variable placeholders are replaced with user-controlled default values using a simple string replacement method that lacks proper escaping or parameterization. This flaw allows attackers to inject malicious SQL that is executed on the backend database when the dataset is accessed by users with read permissions. The vulnerability could be exploited to extract sensitive data from the database, including user credentials and system configuration details.
Users are advised to upgrade to DataEase version 2.10.23 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
