Description
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.23, DataEase export-center deletion can accept path traversal sequences such as ../ in the bulk delete API endpoint and pass attacker-controlled identifiers to ExportCenterManage.delete, allowing recursive deletion of arbitrary server directories through export task cleanup. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.23.
A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in DataEase versions prior to 2.10.23. The issue allows authenticated users to inject path traversal sequences into the bulk delete API endpoint, leading to the recursive deletion of arbitrary directories on the server. This vulnerability arises from the export-center deletion process, which can be manipulated to pass attacker-controlled identifiers for deletion.
Upgrade DataEase to version 2.10.23 or later.
