Description
A buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the command line interface of AOS-CX. Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an remote low-privileged user to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the command line interface of HPE Aruba Networking AOS-CX. This vulnerability affects remote low-privileged users, allowing them to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. The issue is present in AOS-CX versions 10.13.1070 and below, 10.16.1040 and below, and 10.17.1010 and below.
Users are advised to upgrade to AOS-CX 10.18.0001 and above, AOS-CX 10.17.1021 and above, AOS-CX 10.16.1051 and above, or AOS-CX 10.13.1180 and above. For versions 10.13.xxxx, CVE-2026-63454 is resolved in AOS-CX 10.13.1190. Customers unable to upgrade are advised to use the recommended workaround until the resolved version is available.
