Description
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
An integer underflow vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Office Excel. This flaw allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. The vulnerability arises from improper handling of integer values, which can be exploited under certain conditions.
Users can download the security update for this vulnerability through the Microsoft Update Catalog. For Microsoft Office LTSC and Microsoft 365 for Mac, the security update will be released as soon as possible, with customers being notified via a revision to the CVE information.
