Description
Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in The Document Foundation LibreOffice via crafted OOXML documents with mismatched encryption salt parameters. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 26.2 before 26.2.3, from 25.8 before 25.8.7.
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in LibreOffice versions 26.2 prior to 26.2.3 and 25.8 prior to 25.8.7. This vulnerability arises from an out-of-bounds write issue when LibreOffice processes crafted OOXML documents that contain mismatched encryption salt parameters. Such documents can trigger the vulnerability, leading to potential memory corruption.
Users can upgrade to LibreOffice versions 26.2.3 or 25.8.7 to address this vulnerability.
