Description
FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. Version 1.3.0 has an authorization bypass in the /api/getTagValue endpoint allows unauthenticated access to tag values when the referenced script does not exist. Version 1.3.1 patches the issue.
An authorization bypass vulnerability has been identified in FUXA version 1.3.0, specifically within the '/api/getTagValue' endpoint. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to access tag values when the referenced script is nonexistent. The issue arises because the endpoint can be reached without proper authentication, and the authorization checks can be bypassed by exploiting the way script references are handled.
Users can upgrade to FUXA version 1.3.1 or later to address this vulnerability.
