Description
A race condition was addressed with improved state handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
A race condition vulnerability has been identified in the Accounts framework of Apple macOS. This issue allows an application to potentially access sensitive user data without proper authorization. The vulnerability arises from inadequate state management, creating a timing issue that could be exploited to bypass privacy controls. This race condition has been addressed with improved state handling. The vulnerability is present in multiple macOS versions, including Sequoia 15.7.8, Sonoma 14.8.8, and Tahoe 26.6.
