Description
An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
An authorization vulnerability has been identified in the CoreMedia component of Apple macOS Sequoia and macOS Tahoe. This issue allows applications to potentially access sensitive user data without proper authorization. The vulnerability arises from a race condition that was not adequately managed, creating an opportunity for unauthorized data access.
Users can update to macOS Sequoia 15.7.8 or macOS Tahoe 26.6 to address this vulnerability.
