Description
A permissions issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to read files outside of its sandbox.
A vulnerability exists in the Apple ATS component of macOS that allows applications to read files outside of their designated sandbox. This issue affects multiple macOS versions, including Sequoia 15.7.8, Sonoma 14.8.8, and Tahoe 26.6. The vulnerability arises from a permissions issue that has been addressed by removing the problematic code.
