Description
An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds write operations has been identified in the Apple Neural Engine component of macOS Sequoia and macOS Tahoe. This issue could lead to unexpected system termination or corruption of kernel memory. The vulnerability arises from inadequate bounds checking, which can be exploited by applications to manipulate memory improperly.
Users can upgrade to macOS Sequoia 15.7.8 or macOS Tahoe 26.6 to address this vulnerability.
