Description
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.5.2, iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, iOS 26.5.2 and iPadOS 26.5.2, macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6. A malicious website may exfiltrate data cross-origin.
A vulnerability in WebKit, the engine used by Safari, allows a malicious website to exfiltrate data across origins. This issue affects Safari 26.5.2, as well as iOS and iPadOS 26.5.2. The vulnerability arises from inadequate cross-origin data handling, which could be exploited to access and transfer sensitive information from one origin to another without proper authorization.
Users can update to Safari 26.5.2, iOS 26.5.2, iPadOS 26.5.2, or macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 to address this vulnerability.
