Description
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.5.2, iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, iOS 26.5.2 and iPadOS 26.5.2, macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected Safari crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in WebKit, the engine used by Safari and other Apple applications. This issue affects Safari 26.5.2, as well as iOS 26.5.2, iPadOS 26.5.2, and macOS Tahoe 26.5.2. The vulnerability arises from improper memory management, which can be exploited by processing maliciously crafted web content, potentially leading to a crash of the Safari browser or the application using WebKit.
