Description
The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or write kernel memory.
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in Apple macOS versions Sequoia 15.7.8, Sonoma 14.8.8, and Tahoe 26.6. This vulnerability allows an application to cause unexpected system termination or write to kernel memory. The issue arises from improper memory management, which can be exploited to manipulate kernel memory, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or other malicious activities.
