Description
A maliciously crafted HTML payload in an assembly variant name, when displayed during the delete confirmation dialog and clicked by a user, can trigger a Stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Autodesk Fusion desktop application. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to read local files or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Autodesk Fusion desktop application. This issue arises when a maliciously crafted HTML payload is embedded in an assembly variant name. When this payload is displayed during the delete confirmation dialog and clicked by a user, it can execute arbitrary code or read local files in the context of the current process.
Users are advised to update to Autodesk Fusion version 2702.1.47 or later. The latest version can be downloaded from the Autodesk Fusion Client Downloader available for Windows and Mac.
