Description
The CI HUB Connector plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' attribute of the `cihub_metadata` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.106 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the CI HUB Connector plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.2.106. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'id' attribute of the 'cihub_metadata' shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users access the affected pages.
