Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Unreserve bo if queue update failed Error handling path should unreserve bo then return failed. (cherry picked from commit c24afed7de9ecce341825d8ab55a43a254348b33)
A vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel's handling of graphics processing unit (GPU) queue updates for AMD devices. When a queue update fails, the error handling process does not properly unreserve the buffer object (BO), which can lead to resource management issues. This vulnerability has been addressed in the Linux kernel stable tree.
Users can upgrade to the latest version of the Linux kernel stable tree, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
