CVE-2026-4267 Details
Description
The Query Monitor – The developer tools panel for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.20.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Query Monitor WordPress plugin, in all versions through 3.20.3. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. This injection could be executed on pages if the attacker successfully persuades a user to perform an action, such as clicking a link.
Users can update to Query Monitor version 3.20.4 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
