Incomplete validation of the SOA record present in a catalog zone might lead to a crash.
A vulnerability in PowerDNS Recursor exists due to incomplete validation of the Start of Authority (SOA) record in catalog zones. This flaw may result in a crash, causing a denial-of-service condition.
