CVE-2026-41920 Details
Description
Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache Traffic Server. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 9.0.0 through 9.1.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.1.15 or 10.1.4, which fixes the issue.
An improper access control vulnerability has been identified in Apache Traffic Server, specifically in versions 9.0.0 prior to 9.2.15 and 10.0.0 prior to 10.1.4. This vulnerability arises from the SNI and Host comparison using a one-sided length, which allows for bypassing host-SNI policy. The issue can be exploited by manipulating the TLS SNI to prefix the Host header, effectively circumventing access controls that rely on this comparison.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Traffic Server version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4.
