CVE-2026-41701 Details
Description
Correlation IDs for replies in the RabbitTemplate.sendAndReceive() with the fixed reply queue are predictable due to internal simple counter. Affected versions: Spring AMQP 4.0.0 through 4.0.3; 3.2.0 through 3.2.10; 3.1.0 through 3.1.15; 2.4.0 through 2.4.17.
A vulnerability exists in Spring AMQP versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.3, 3.2.0 through 3.2.10, 3.1.0 through 3.1.15, and 2.4.0 through 2.4.17. The issue arises because correlation IDs for replies in the RabbitTemplate.sendAndReceive() method, when using a fixed reply queue, are predictable. This predictability is due to an internal simple counter, which can lead to reply poisoning on fixed reply queues.
Users of affected versions should upgrade to the corresponding fixed version. The fixed versions are 4.0.4, 3.2.11, 3.1.16, and 2.4.18. For Spring AMQP 4.0.3.1, 3.2.10.1, and 2.4.18, a commercial version is available through the Spring Enterprise subscription.
