Description
Subscriber Broken Access Control in rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress <= 4.7.9 versions.
A broken access control vulnerability has been identified in the rtMedia plugin for WordPress, BuddyPress, and bbPress, affecting versions through 4.7.9. This vulnerability allows users with a subscriber role to perform actions that require higher privileges, due to missing authorization checks.
Users of the rtMedia plugin for WordPress, BuddyPress, and bbPress should update to version 4.7.10 or later to address this vulnerability. Patchstack users can enable auto-updates for vulnerable plugins.
