Description
Subscriber Arbitrary File Upload in Charity Zone <= 1.1.1 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file uploads has been identified in the WordPress Charity Zone theme, affecting versions through 1.1.1. This issue arises from insufficient validation of uploaded files, enabling subscribers to upload potentially malicious files, such as backdoors, which could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users are advised to update the WordPress Charity Zone theme to version 1.1.2 or later. Patchstack has also issued a mitigation rule to block attacks until the update is applied.
