Description
Subscriber Arbitrary File Upload in Kids Gift Shop <= 0.5.4 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file upload has been identified in the WordPress Kids Gift Shop theme, in versions through 0.5.4. This issue arises from insufficient validation of uploaded files, enabling users with subscriber privileges to upload potentially malicious files, such as backdoors, which could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users are advised to update the WordPress Kids Gift Shop theme to version 0.5.5 or later. For those unable to update manually, it is recommended to contact their hosting provider or web developer for assistance.
