Description
Subscriber Arbitrary File Upload in Restaurant Zone <= 0.7.8 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file upload has been identified in the WordPress Restaurant Zone theme, in versions through 0.7.8. This issue arises from insufficient validation of uploaded files, enabling subscribers to upload potentially malicious files, such as backdoors, which could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users are advised to update the WordPress Restaurant Zone theme to version 0.7.9 or later. Patchstack has also issued a mitigation rule to block attacks targeting this vulnerability.
